Moral Panic in Ireland 2010: Head Shops
The year 2010 saw the emergence of a number retail outlets (head shops) in Ireland that sold ‘legal highs’. These head shops sprang up all around the country, and sold perfectly legal alternatives to the likes of cannabis and acid, due to a number of various loop holes in a very grey area in Irish law.
